Nancy C. PalmerACUPUNCTURIST
A life-long interest in holistic healthcare led Nancy to the field of Chinese medicine and acupuncture. Her experience as a competitive athlete influenced her decision to specialize in sports medicine. In addition to completing her Master's degree at Bastyr, she is currently enrolled in the Sports Medicine Acupuncture Certification® postgraduate program. Nancy believes in supporting overall health to help patients maintain and get back to the activities they love.
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Nancy was exposed to Bastyr University and integrative medicine from a young age. During her studies, she rotated through various clinics in Washington and abroad. This included shifts at the Harborview Medical Center, Providence Mount St. Vincent, and in Taiwan. These experiences gave her a greater appreciation of the effects of pain on daily living and not just after trauma or injury. Nancy believes how we feel in our bodies greatly affects our outlook and ability to engage in life.
While not working our furthering her education, Nancy can be found outside, usually in the mountains. She also enjoys spending time with her family and close friends, and going on adventures with her dog Ozlow.
